Exclusive! Celtic and Rangers set to lose top talent to Premier League giants
Both sides of the Glasgow divide will lose kids to bigger academies, we can reveal
Celtic and Rangers are bracing themselves for Premier League bids for their young talent.
The Hoops have lost a number of young starlets over the years to clubs down south and they now look set to lose another.
It is understood that young Conall Glancy is poised to make the move to join Tottenham Hotspur in a move that will likely frustrate the hierarchy at Parkhead.
The talented teen is on the radar of a host of clubs down south with many chasing his signature for a professional deal down the line.
But it’s Spurs who appear to lead the race for the kid as they look to add to their academy squad with one of Scottish football’s top youngsters.
Across the city it’s 16-year-old wide player Alfie Hutchison who is attracting interest with Newcastle United hoping to land the promising teenager.
The prodigious talent marked his Rangers Glasgow Cup debut with a brace against Queen’s Park back in February.
Newcastle are also understood to be closing in on Oliver Goodbrand who is a 16-year-old left-back at Ibrox.
Goodbrand is another who made his Rangers B team debut for Stephen Smith’s outfit at just 15-years-old.
He is set to join up with the Magpies’ academy soon.
